Description

The Wolfram Tides Calculator will become your go-to guide for tide information. Calculate the present tide or todays high and low tides, do historical computations, or plan your vacation using the tide forecast. The app can automatically detect your current location or provide data from around the world. Includes bonus extras: - Sunrise, sunset, and moon phases - Properties of oceans, including the speed of sound therein - Sun exposure information and UV forecasts - Weather forecast, history, and current look-ups - Pressure under water computations Tide predictions proceed by collecting data from tide measurement stations and then extrapolating using a standard mathematical and physical model. This means that the Wolfram Tides Calculator can only give historical, present, and future tide information for locations for which there are tide stations. Presently Wolfram|Alpha has information from more than 2,000 tide stations around the world. If you believe that there is a tide station near you, but we are not reporting data from it, please post the location of the tide station, including a URL if possible. Ce nest quune interface pour faire une recherche sur WolframAlpha avec le mot "tides" en plus... Je nai même pas trouvé les infos de marée près de chez moi (Maroc). En plus lapplication est très moche et nutilise pas les composants standard diOS (le clavier en particulier).

Brazil not supported

As it is, the app is almost useless to me. Not much than a poor interface to some information from wolframs alpha. And, whats worse, no support for tides in brazil, the whole reason for me buying the app.

Diese App bietet keine Informationen, die nicht auch über WolframAlpha abzurufen wären. Ärgerlich, dass für Wolframs Tiden-Welt Europa, insbesondere aber Deutschland (nur Bremerhaven) offenbar eine weitgehend tidenfreie Zone ist.

Excellent App, European Tide Data missing

Very nice app but european tide data is missing, in my instance Wangerooge, Lower Saxony, Germany. Rest of the functionality is very Good.
