Description

The ABSITE quiz app is a great review of general surgery questions. Each question has a full explanation and added reference for further reading. The explanation and references is the collaborative effort of several residents from Lehigh Valley Health Network and Cedar Sinai Medical Center – Los Angeles. Thus , this review is for residents by resident. This app is also very beneficial to medical students during their surgery clerkship. It is also of great benefit to any surgeon who wants to keep up with their general surgery knowledge. Thanks to the Department of Surgery at Lehigh Valley health Network for their support of this app. I would also like to thank Ali Salim, MD, FACS, Associate Professor of Surgery, Residency Program Director, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for his support.

Decent content but the execution makes one suspect. Submitting a survey is impossible because the app is poorly coded and does not hide the keyboard. Upon quiz failure, the user is presented with the grammatically heinous "you enter 5 times wrong answer".

Is this app serious? $5.99? I shouldnt have paid $0.11 for this garbage. There are like 53 questions and they are high school level. This is Im no way practice for the absite. Do not and I repeat trying to help you, do not waste your money. Get a beer instead. Youll learn more!
