This app is for all fourth year medical students and interns. Yes, it is called surgical intern survival guide but the content covers all aspects of medicine. This app is meant to make the journey through medical school and internship just a bit easier. The application can be used as a tool with everyday situations that an intern encounters , especially in the early months of residency. We have a category called " Common Floor Calls" which covers shortness of breath, decease urine output, chest pain, etc.. Having this app when called to tend on these patients will make your night or day much easier. We also covered documentation, . a few common dictations, common medications..etc "Enhancing medical education one app at a time"

A waste of money

Do not buy this app. Quqlity of everything including the information and the format is very poor. It is actually an insult to buyers intelligence by the developers of this app.

Dont waste the money. Half of the folders dont open up and the ones that do the layout is too crammed into one page. Needs work

Good potential but weak

The information that is there is good but the app right now falls short. Many of the folders dont open. If they claim this covers all of medicine the survival guide should include admit orders, discharge orders, the BLS/ACLS guidelines and more. The list of common complaints interns see is short and incomplete. Its obvious this is a first edition. If they dont make some critical upgrades I will have wasted my money.

This app has a lot of potential. However, it is currently faulty and half the options give a message of being unable to be read. Update: The lack of updates and the still missing sections make me question the quality and reliability of the other apps by the developer. I suspect that any of the reviews that state there are no problems with the app are from the developer or friends of the developer. For the time being this app is not worth the money.

Bought this in preparation for intern year and sad to say it isnt worth the money. Consists of a bunch of PDFs with limited information on them (sometimes just 4 sentences about a topic!). This may have been marginally useful as a beginning med student but even then only for the first few days...
