Description

The Surgery resident aid app was created with the student of surgery in mind. It provides templates that can be useful on rounds. it is for the medical student during their clerkship. It is also extremely useful for the junior surgery residents. Physicians assistant and nurse practitioners on surgery can also benefit from this app. We were able to put this together with input from surgery residents. We plan to expand on this app a few times this year. Please give feedback and input to make this an even better app. Our focus is on enhancing surgical education.

Totally useless, a REAL waste of money.

Basics and needs a zoom

It is the bare bones of notes and just works as a reference for those. Also I can barely read it because you can not zoom in. I asked them to fix this.

A good app for beginners in surgery. Check out how you can run the web from inside the app! Also the note templates are a must for new med student not used to the wards.

This app is a must have for surgical interns, medical students and surgical or physician assistants. It packs lots of good information in a very concise yet thorough manner.The information is basic, but it still covers a lot of information and its perfect when youre on call, in a hurry, and want to double check that you have not forgotten anything. It is certainly not intended to be an authoritative reference on anything but in its mission to provide house officers with a useful and quick reference on basic surgical issues, this app succeeds. Very compact & useful to have while on call.

Very basic info as someone else said. Would like maybe more info as to surgical instrument names and uses, etc.
