Good
Thought it was gonna be more. Wld like to see more items to make. I little confussd with the timer thing and also with the menu. Love the idea and my next waiter will be amazed!!!
Good idea, but still a failure
It looks like they just copied and pasted from other (copyrighted) websites without even a footnote. Searching for dollar bill origami in Mobile Safari would get you the same content, with more total content available, for free. Many of the instructions dont even have photos. The instructions arent always all that clear. Plus, the app interface is pretty bad. In no other app is the little (i) button used as the OK or Go button. The little (i) button is supposed to be for settings, an about page, or something similar, not where you find all the content youre looking for. As for the timer and goals for each origami, I bet less than one percent of people considering purchasing an app like this car about a feature like that at all. Get better ACTUAL ORIGAMI INSTRUCTIONS before adding useless features like a timer.
This is a sweet app
This app works really well. I used to get tips in dollar origamis at the coffee shop I used to work at. I always wanted to know how to make my own dollar origami...this app is easy to use and Ive learned how to make several. Now I tip in dollar origamis!! When time permits!! :)
Good, but hard to use
I love origami, and I loved leaving tips with folded bills, but I only knew a few designs. So as soon as I saw this, I bought it. I love all the options of things to fold, but it would be nice if there were instructions on all, rather than just the pictures. Plus, it would be good to be able to zoom in on the pictures, since some are too small to see clearly. Also, the user interface is a little weird and unintuitive. I would never use the timer function, and there could be an easier way to navigate through the app. But a great idea! Hopefully these issues can be addressed in an update.
Tipping has never been so fun!
I hate tipping! And I was even once a waiter. I hate that waiters have to rely on tips to make a living. Prefer euro style where theyre paid a decent wage. Anyways, point is that I always hate tipping because it just adds on to the bill - Id prefer if it were already in the cost of the food. Dollar Origami has made lemonade out of lemons for me! Now I actually love tipping because its another chance for me to bring a smile to a waiters face with a perfect Tie Fighter (or a hilarious failure attempt that looks like I crumpled a bill into a glorious mess). Either way, fun for me and fun for the waiter! One star off because the Tie Fighter is so damned difficult!
