Reference: ACC/AHA 2007 guidelines on perioperative cardiovascular evaluation and care for noncardiac surgery: a report of the American College of Cardiology/American Heart Association Task Force on Practice Guidelines (Writing Committee to Revise the 2002 Guidelines on Perioperative Cardiovascular Evaluation for Noncardiac Surgery): developed in collaboration with the American Society of Echocardiography, American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, Heart Rhythm Society, Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists, Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions, Society for Vascular Medicine and Biology, and Society for Vascular Surgery.

Cant see and not current

Current guidelines published in 2014. Cant even see the app r/t adds.

Could have put in some extra effort

This app is what it says, guidelines for pre-op crdiac clearance. They basically took the guideline and put it into a decision tree. This app had the potential to be so much more. Instead of just republishing the guideline into a form that sits on the iPhone, why couldnt you enter in the patients history and co-morbidities up front, tell it what kind of surgery is planned and have the recomendation outputed for you with the reasons why? Cardiologists are probably not going to use this app, its internists and residents who dont know the criteria off the top of their head and want a quick and easy answer if they should bother a cardiologist or not. Man up and make this a real app instead of an electronic index card!

App working fine but when I upgraded my phone, I can no longer assess the app because of the pharma advertisement. Tried to get in app help but the website no longer exists.
