Highly recommend it
Whistler Bike Riding Must Have
Excellent. Anyone who has ever rode the Whistler bike trails knows how great they are. Finding them, however, is not always easy. There are so many and so well hidden it could take years to find and get to know most. Especially if you are new to the area and without a guide. Unless you already know the exact location of all of Whistlers bike trails, by heart, including difficulty level, distance and elevation changes and can find them from wherever you happen to be....you need this app. GPS is accurate and the in app option to turn it off for periods to save battery is very useful. The compass overlay option greatly helps orientation. Hope they keep up with trail additions.

Eventually I discovered that there are trail descriptions buried within the review. I am revising my earlier negative review.
Not worth 9.99
Would be good if the GPS feature worked while you are on the trails. It was recommended by one of the local bike shops but a papermap would have been just as good. Local trail marking needs some updating.
Awesome Value
GPS is very accurate and tracked us the entire time on Comfortably Numb. Theres a new short trail off of there that is missing but the app kept us on track. Even in a crazy area like Lost Lake our location was accurately displayed. Couple new trails in there as well that will hopefully be in an update but being able to see where we were made it easy to decide where to go next.
Great app
Have used it multiple times on many different Whistler trails. GPS works the whole way on Comfortably Numb. So easy to find trailheads off main roads like Flank trail etc. I highly recommend if you like to search out Whistler singletrack and are not a local. Just wish it had some logging or journal options.
Impressed
Purchased this app upon realizing my Whistler bike trail map was from 1996. I was amazed. Fast boot up. Easy to read. Intuitive simple functions that I was able to operate with gloves on. On first ride I was easily identifying trails and new routes with iPod playing. The GPS marker was snappy and accurate, even on my old 3G. This app exceeded my expectations. Less lost = more fun!
