Longlegs and the Pirate with No-Nose is an interactive book for kids, translated in seven languages (Italian, English, French, Spanish, German, Japanese, Chinese), it has been drawn by Francesco Tosi and conceived by professional pedagogues, that look after the educational part. The brilliance of this application is definitely in the story, striking for its originality as well as its illustrations, all product of the imagination of Francesco Tosi. The pirate Rakam, nicknamed “No-Nose,” takes lovingly care of his alligators on a magical island called Calabi-Yau. One day, having no clue about how to feed his little pets, he took the princessbaby. Cannonball, first-mate of the evil pirate, moved by compassion, saves the baby from his sad fate, taking it away from his tormentor and leaving him adrift in the ocean. The giant Longlegs also becomes aware of the incident and decides to come to the aid of the little castaway. The giant, after some misadventures, finally arrives on Calabi-Yau, with the intention to rescue the little prince.
Longlegs and the Pirate with No-Nose is also a fun app for older ones. There are many surprises, eye-catching animations and different opportunities for learning and discovery. You can interact with the story, decide whether to read alone or listen to the narrator: there are seven different voices, one for each language in which the story is translated. Lapplication fonctionne parfaitement sur mon Mac. Mais lhistoire nest franchement pas terrible...
vraiment moyen mais pas cher
Je conseille aux parents de visionner lhistoire avant leurs bambins. Non pas que ce soit choquant, mais lhistoire est assez étrange... Jai pas vraiment aimé mais mon enfant a adoré. Ensuite, il est bon à savoir que lergonomie de cette histoire interactive nest pas folichonne: pour passer à la suite, il suffit de cliquer sur le coin en bas à droite de lécran. Bon à savoir pour ne pas rester coinçé devant lordi avec son enfant qui veut la suite! De même si lon ferme lappli, elle reprendra là où on en était arreté. Jusque-là, cest pratique. Sauf quarrivé à la fin de lhistoire, on ferme lappli et le jour suivant lorsquon réouvre, tiens on est coinçés sur la page de fin! Là encore, pour rejouer lhistoire rien nest expliqué ou intuitif, mais après avoir cliqué un peu partout, on saperçoit que le bon endroit pour faire un retour se situe en haut à gauche de lécran. Enfin, sur chaque "page" se trouve une action à réaliser en cliquant quelque part ou faisant glisser la souris. Parfois cest évident à trouver, dautres fois euuuuuh.... Dans le cas ou votre enfant aime, on regrettera en tant que parent ne pas trouver la suite ou de nouvelles histoires sur le store. Bref, gratuit, pas époustouflant mais pas mal, trois étoiles.

Un lieto fine era meglio
salve a tutti, l’idea è carina, però poi tutto diventa un po macabro, durante il viaggio che la storia fa di bocca in bocca, tra gli animali, muoiono tutti gli animali; la separazione del bimbo dalla mamma, il suicidio o tentato suicidio della principessa... Però la parte più inquietante è sicuramente lo sguardo della principessa intrappolata in una conchiglia mentre guarda il suo sequestratore, insomma una storia che sembra uscita da un libro dell’horror e non certamente da una fiaba. Do comunque la sufficienza perché per inventare una storia così per bambini e consapevolmente finire nell’ironico (palesemente) ce ne vuole, cioè sufficientemente fuori …..
