Daily Jotter is a simple notepad that automatically provides a new page every day. It is ideal for storing notes and snippets of information that you want to return to later - just like a paper note book. NOTE that minimum version of macOS is El Capitan (version 10.11) * A new page every day * Template text for each new page * Save as you type * Print any entry * Entries list window * Find text across all entries using the Entries list window * Print multiple entries * Export any entry * Fast start up As it creates a new page every day, you can be sure that when you open it on a new day, a blank sheet is waiting for you. Daily Jotter will automatically save your notes as you type, so you never need to worry about losing your work. It has also been designed to be fast, so dont worry about exiting the application; it will start up again quickly when you need it! You can navigate between days by selecting the "Previous" or "Next" buttons on the toolbar or using the menu items on the Page menu. Einfach, aber extrem nützlich

Daily Jotter ist zentrales & tägliches Element meines papierlosen Büros am Mac: ein universeller "Schmierzettel" pro Tag, nicht mehr und nicht weniger. Bin sehr zufrieden damit, da genau das Maß an Funktionalität, das ich gesucht habe. Zusatz: Auch der Support ist ausgezeichnet (Anfrage wurde binnen weniger Minuten beantwortet). Und als Tipp: Das Durchsuchen aller Notizzettel funktioniert über das Entries-Window (cmd-L).

With this new version this application is getting better and better, it does exactly what I want as far as having a page per day for Journal entry. I like the new search feature and the ability to print sections I want. Gary

Great Little App

Turns out the simplest app that I downloaded is the one I use the most. This is so handy to have a page set up for every day. It is easy to clip notes in from emails and when you flip back through the pages of the journal, you get a great review of what has been going on in your life. For anyone who likes to journal, this is the app for you. I love the little snips of emails that I get from people that are so funny and great. Putting them in the journal is so much better than saving the email and then never being able to find it again. Love this app!

Performs as advertised but...

Love the product but have a couple of questions. 1) Can you make it "find" and entry no matter when it was entered? Starting on the 7th of this month, I made several entries concerning water softeners. I tried to find them by clicking Edit > Find > Find... and entering the word softener. It didnt find it on the current page because it wasnt there. It said "Not found". I expected it to scan previous dates but apparently it doesnt do this. For me, this should be a required feature of the software. 2) Can you make this work with MobileMe synchronization? I have two Macs and it would be great to be able to enter and/or view data no matter which Mac it was entered on.

This app was exactly what I was looking for in a journal. I was tired of searching for a pen and looking for the perfect journal for my thoughts each day! Now with one flick the jotter is open and I am typing away! I love that theyve added the ability to print several days at a time too!! This is an awesome app...click install right away!

Its just like a Text Edit with less fetures that automaticaly comes out with a new document every day. Not that impressive. Chronologies is a much better app.
