About the app The CBT App contains instructive texts and CBT exercises which you can do by yourself or with a therapist. The exercises comes from cognitive behaviour therapy and may be of help to those suffering from depression, dejection, anxiety, panic disorder or social phobia. Support to use the app by yourself or with a therapist At the moment, there are five well known CBT exercises in the app. The exercises and the functionalities of them are designed in a way to remove difficulties in the CBT therapy the creators of the app have received. Before every exercise, there is a text section with simple instructions. In order to prevent the user waste energy by going back and forth between the exercises and the CBT theory - important key words and concepts recur as pop-ups in the actual exercise questions if you need to check. The answers are saved in the device and not in any external server. If you wish to display a figurative design of your mood - the app may calculate your input about your mood over a timeline when you feel it is time to generate a graph. If you should want to share those statistics with your therapist you can easily send them. These statistics provides a useful basis for counseling with a therapist. ---------------- Remember that the app is not replacing any form of therapy or treatment. Depression and anxiety disorders are serious conditions and if you experience these you should always contact a doctor if you feel they are limiting your life.
